Just saw the new TMNT movie and...

...mostly my thoughts on it are thoughts a grownup would have. oh no i'm old

also, spoilers for TMNT Mutant Mayhem obv.

so it's basically setting up a 'turtles go to high school' au right? so i'm investing most of my brainsweat in the logistics of getting them set up.

1) they'd need to get, like, social security numbers and all that, right? idk if you need to be a citizen to get in the public school system, but they'd have to Exist On Paper somehow.

2) there have to be programs for transitioning, like, homeschool kids to public school, right? or maybe not, maybe they just get thrown in the deep end idk.

3) all that stuff would take mooooooonths. but I feel like regardless of their age, they're starting as freshmen. their education is probably pretty piecemeal.

4) they're already being bugged by colleges, right? also military recruiters. .....yeah, the military recruitment guy tries it on them exactly once, i bet. ;P

5) poor awkward-dad Splinter, having to deal with all this. XD
