Call for drabble prompts~
Give me a pairing/character/fandom and a song lyric/phrase/prompty theme, and I'll give you at least a hundred words, probably more.
Because it occurred to me that I'm about to have a lot more free time for the next month or so and I haven't attempted one of these in a while. ;)
AUs, crack, crossovers, porn, stuff based on old fic/unfinished projects, all welcome. Fandoms include Transformers (mostly G1, Beast Wars, and Prime, though I admit I never made it through season 2 of Prime), Marvel Cinematic Universe/Avengers, TMNT (not TOO familiar with the new cartoon, but other iterations are fair game), Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy 7, maybe a little Ace Attorney if the spirit moves... eh, you know my playgrounds. ;)

There was a faint mark on the doorjamb leading to Prowl's office, where Jazz had made a habit of tapping his knuckles for attention. It used to amuse him. Now he had to struggle to keep his smile as he tapped that same spot, a light double-tap, same as always. "Hey," he called. "Nice day out. Wanna go for a drive?"
Prowl didn't even look up from his data slate. "I've got too much to do here, Jazz."
You always do, Jazz wanted to snap, but he held his vocalizer. He already knew he was too greedy. Ric, you were right about me. Always were. "Some other time?"
"Mhm." Prowl's stylus started moving again. Jazz had already faded from his awareness.
The impulse to shout at him, to shake him, to run headlong through the halls like an upset youngling bloomed in him and faded just as quickly. The only concession Jazz would make to his rent spark, as he turned to go, was to let his smile die.

Jazz says it's ok now, really. Everyone's changed by the war. He's changed, Prowl's changed, everyone. He got used to it, accepted it, and moved on.
He never quite forgives Prime, though. Irrational, he knows, but still...s'true.
