They - the Maximals and Predacons alike - always forgot that hares were rodents, just like Rattrap. Sagewind didn't mind that, really. It was nice to be genuinely underestimated for once, instead of constantly being told she was underestimating herself - and really, the less you had in common with Rattrap the better. It was just mildly amusing, that was all. A harmless absurdity that added color to her existence here on this primitive planet.
It was almost a shame to have to shatter Megatron's illusion, Sagewind thought, as she applied her powerful incisors to the lock of the cage the purple tyrant had carelessly left her in. The work went slowly, but millimeter by millimeter, the lock gave way... until Sagewind hit a weak point and the lock shattered in her mouth.
He'll have to learn to keep a maintenance schedule too, Sagewind thought smugly as, channeling Rattrap once more, she snuck through the ventilation ducts to make good her escape.
