You don't suck. You're spending longer working on creative stuff because everyone who is doing creative stuff at present is suffering a slowdown due to external circumstances. Even major published authors are commenting on this (definitely read the comments on the article I've linked there - especially the one by Charlie Stross, who points out for folks in the UK, the whole "brexit" mess fills the space occupied by the Cheetoh-in-chief in the USA).

You're still working - that's the important bit.
