Headcanon Post, 1/?
I had an RP Tumblr for Rodimus Prime for a couple of years. I quit in frustration because I kept trying to interact with every other Transformers-RP Tumblr I could find and got ignored/told off by almost all of them. I got enough of that crap in middle school.
Recently my friend got a Tumblr for her Unicronian muns and is having fun with it so far. Part of me wants to get another Tumblr!Roddy and join in, but dear gods I cannot deal with the middle-school feels again. So if nobody minds I'm gonna occasionally steal her memes and fill them here.
(I'll never know what I do wrong when it comes to People. You'd think being inherently off-putting wouldn't show through so much in a text-based medium, but I guess not.)

♥ : Name one thing about the way their emotions work that they despise.
-------Rodimus dwells. A lot. Over every little perceived mistake. Honestly a lot of his moodiness comes from a sense of "I'm sick of picking at this wound but I can't make myself stop."
☂ : Storms or clear skies?
-------Both have their attractions. Clear, sunny skies was racing weather for Hot Rod, and so hot & sunny weather can still make Rodimus feel a little wild and restless. He doesn't tend to get a lot of work done those days. Storms were highly dangerous on Cybertron, so a rainstorm on Earth has always been something of a wonder for Rodimus. He likes being out in heavy rains as much as he likes being in sunshine. ...so he doesn't get a lot of work done those days either. XD
☎ : List three or more people they would call out for during an emergency.
-------For political screw-ups, military snafus, and other situations wherein Rodimus needs an Adultier Adult: Ultra Magnus or Kup.
For medical emergencies: First Aid.
For nightmares: Optimus Prime.
☛ : What is their typical response to being given orders?
-------...honestly, he still tends to react like a grunt when someone barks an order, at least until his processor catches up and reminds him that he's got rank now.Now, being given an order in the berthroom is another story.
✄ : Are there any reasons why they would ever think of self-harm? If so, what are they?
-------Rodimus doesn't do deliberate physical self-harm, exactly, but if he's in a rough state of mind - if he's screwed up or under a lot of stress - he tends to do things like deny himself fuel or avoid necessary repairs. He'll be like 'I'll go get fuel when (x) is accomplished" but then the value of (x) keeps getting further and further away because he still doesn't feel like he's earned fuel/rest/repair yet. ...then there's the negative self-talk, which is a nigh-constant source of self-harm.
❤ : Describe a physical action that shows complete trust.
-------Quietly initiating comforting contact, like reaching out for a handhold or a hug. He's pretty tactile and he loves physical affection, but he does have the same hangups about not openly showing vulnerability that they all have.
❥ : Describe a verbal way they would express complete trust.
-------Talking about his emotions. Because he has LOTS, you guys, and some of them are pretty awful. So if he's talking to you about how he feels, not only does he trust you not to use it against him, he also thinks you're strong enough to handle it.
✏ : What are their creative outlets?
-------Depending on the 'verse... dance. :D Anything physical really, I headcanon that he's learning both Cybertronian and Earth sword combat styles and of course he's a racer, but the dancing thing is - yeah. ^_^ It gets him out of his head and into his body, so it's a temporary respite from, y'know, all of the above.

Also, I remember your Tumblr-Roddy,and I loved him. I was sad to see you go ;__; but sometimes one is left with little choice.
