IMHO, that's what some of the Orange Turd's demented followers believe. I personally think that the Turd is still trying to distract from the Epstein files AND wants to play "Heroic Wartime President" with his toy soldiers--only they're real people killing real people and the Turd is no Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

The Turd doesn't think the rest of us are actual people like him, anyway.

I'm in this camp, too. I don't think the US President holds a belief in any god except himself; he does whatever brings him pleasure, and doesn't recognise any moral force outside of his own desires. He's willing to give lip service to any concept that will keep the money rolling in from his followers, but he 100% started this war because he wants people to stop talking about the Epstein files and start venerating him for his masculine war prowess and that's all the reason he needs to do anything. :/

I have a former park volunteer I friended on Facebook after she moved out of state, super nice, used to work our front desk - posts all the time about the upcoming apocalypse and how these are all the signs, with her family and friends chiming in to "amen". I hide my posts from her, but haven't unfriended just to keep tabs on the crazy, had *no* idea about this side of her while she was a volunteer.

It definitely does sound like the set-up for a (badly written) JRPG. In which case, we can expect the group of badly-dressed teenagers (and their dragon) to kill whichever deity has been summoned, because that's how these things go.
