I had a fandom dream. I think this was a no-war AU; Hot Rod witnesses the murder of his mother (read this fic if you haven't met my partner's and my OC Nightlight yet) by a band of roving vampire assholes, and rather than kill him outright they turn him and threaten to pin his mom's murder on him if he doesn't do what they say. Suspecting that they're planning to do that anyway (and also being a stubborn little wossname), Hot Rod starts sneaking about looking for ways to escape while avoiding thinking about the whole 'newly minted vampire' thing. Buuuuut there's only so long you can starve yourself out of principle, and Roddy's captors try to force the issue by locking him in a room with a Pretty Girl they grabbed off the street, thinking that he'll be more willing to go along with them if he actually kills someone. Unfortunately for them the Pretty Girl they grabbed happened to be Arcee, who is Hot Rod's half-sister in this dream for some reason. With her agreement, Hot Rod turns her rather than kills her, and then pretends he thought that's what his captors meant him to do. :D ...and then I woke up. XD
