so i fell down the rabbit (and cow and chicken) hole that is Stardew Valley and a) I will never get anything done again, and b) I really, really want a Final Fantasy reskin of this game.

like, instead of receiving 20 rocks or whatevs in your mailbox Cloud swings by on his motorcycle and drops it off. Tifa runs the saloon. Relm's drawing in random places. Yuna's at the beach. you can raise chocobos and grow Aerisflowers and just all sorts of nostalgia bait.

sometimes the series antagonists fly by and fuck shit up, but that's never framed as being your problem. you're there to grow things. the heroes take care of business in the background and you just go about your day like Stan Lee with headphones.

and then a week later said antagonists show up in the bar and you can start giving them fresh produce and nostalgiaberry wine.

look i just want a game where I get to feed them until they have max hearts and they're all Okay. some people have coffee shop AUs, give me this.

I have also been playing Stardew Valley obsessively again. Right now, WoW sucks, so I am playing Minecraft sometimes and Stardew Valley a lot.

I actually put a lot of thought into that! However it is thought that is based on 'what I personally would want' so no idea if it would entertain you.

Okay! So you play in vaguely G1-ish setting where Skyfire decided he wasn't gonna be part of either side and leaves to try and find a neutral spot. Game is then more city building as he finds a planet with not sentient life and starts making it habitable.

The more habitable it gets the more other neutrals, or people who left the fractions start showing up. Eventually defenses need to be added as both other alien races and Cons and Bots do not like a third option being viable. The option for leaning more Bot or more Con is there but so is quietly convincing them to start peace talks.

ooh! I like the detail of both factions considering Skyfire pootling about on a neutral planet to eventually be an existential threat. XD
