not exactly a fandom dream but it felt like it SHOULD have been based on something.

Expanddream theory? )

I know dreams aren't that deep but my brain rarely bothers with narrative so this certainly FEELS significant somehow.

i dreamed that over the course of like a month or so the entire Solar System had gotten booted out of the Milky Way galaxy and landed in another galaxy entirely where physics was just different enough that everything just got a little weird in a vague unspecified way

which I know is not how space works at all but it'd be a great premise for some kind of fantasy space opera.

(the new galaxy's name was Fenrir, because I've gone a little bit Norse mythology trash lately)

Vacations are interesting.

Just got back from Germany where my parents are stationed. It was a lovely visit, even factoring in our trip to a lovely old castle was cut short because my mom fell and broke her ankle. :\ Dad was on assignment on another whole freakin' continent at the time, so Partner and I wound up having to take care of her all of Friday. Which, honestly, it was nice. We piled onto the sofas and watched nature documentaries on Netflix and just rested from a very full week.

And also I had a complicated fandom dream last night. ExpandCut because not everybody's into other people's dreams. )

This? Is why I don't do horror.

Because everything I watch, read or play gets lodged in my brain, and horror stuff sticks worse than most.

Expandi.e., I had a nightmare about a horror game I will never ever play. And no, it wasn't Five Nights. )
