possibly i am about to get my ass kicked by hubris, or i'm about to boost my wordcount for the month

So I'm participating in a new promptfest game. This one's called Jukebox June. I list my fandoms and a few music artists I'm currently into, you prompt me with a character/pairing and some lyrics from said artists, I (maybe) respond with a ficlet.
